An Economical Electronic Practice Instrument

The Ross Technologies MicroPipes electronically reproduce the standard Great Highland Bagpipe chanter scale in the key of “B flat” (A=470Hz) without drone accompaniment. The notes are played in a very realistic manner, by covering electronic touch sensors, positioned to exactly match the finger spacing of a regular pipe chanter.

The compact, lightweight MicroPipes work with standard stereo headphones, and do not contain a built-in speaker.

Power is automatically turned on when the unit is picked up and any note is played. After approximately 3 minutes of non-use (hi A or no fingers on the chanter), the unit powers itself down to conserve battery life.
